What is British Cycle Quest?
British Cycle Quest is a series of 400+ questions that can only be ansered by actually going to their location. This is done by Bicycle and the answer submitted to the CTC on one of their County Cards.
There are approx 5 or 6 questions per county and it is estimated that a person with a full time job would take a minimum of six years to complete them. Only four people have ever completed the questions in full.
It is an incredibly geeky thing to do and will probably take me the rest of my life. This is really appealing and romantic, dying at the location of the last question. It is a kind of non competitive sport that is akin to Munro bagging but is done on a bicycle.
Here is a link to the CTC's page on BCQ where you can get the questions and sign up for it.
